Meet our Team

United Globally is organised and maintained by volunteers passionate about increasing access to education and career progression globally.

Through United Globally I aspire to help children achieve their dreams of an education and obtain the job of their dreams. My family left Afghanistan during the war when I was 2, this blessed with me the opportunity to graduate from UCL in the UK. My personal goal is to help young children see a vision for their future. Education is a birth right, I believe everyone should be entitled to study irrespective of their gender or country of residence.

Nadia Majidi - Founder & Director

I aspire to increase access to education through United Globally. Through this charity we aim to have an international impact, and increase educational attainment globally

Masoud Rahmatzadeh - Legal Advisor

As the Former Head of Department for Space Research in Afghanistan and Professor at the Faculty of Geology at Kabul University, I understand the importance of empowering our youth to not only aim for the stars, but to aim for far beyond that. My ambition is to work towards giving children in developing countries, especially Afghanistan, the same opportunities as children in developed countries. Children have the power to change the world and we should give them the ability to do so, for the world is their oyster, and they are our tomorrow.

Khalil Nadem - Afghanistan Coordinator

I understand the importance of equal access to education for children due to my experience as Director of Social and Economical Development in Helmand, Afghanistan. I believe in widening the access to education, especially to Afghan children, to ensure that they are able to secure the same opportunities as their peers. I aspire to improve the quality of life of our future generations so that they may go on to serve the country and become well rounded and successful global citizens.

Akagul Bawar - Afghanistan Coordinator

I believe that education is a human right that cannot be conditional upon the location someone happens to be born. If we are to build a better tomorrow it will be together, on a level playing field. Through my work at United Globally I aim to provide for others the same access to education I was lucky enough to have
